Mackenzie’s recruitment process revolves around building honest and friendly relationships with candidates and clients. He focuses on clear and effective communication, to provide the best outcomes for his clients. Mackenzie builds authentic relationships by providing a professional service, in a relaxed and calm manner, working closely with people to ensure they make confident and successful decisions.

 

Mackenzie focusses on building a strong knowledge of his market, allowing him to listen deeply to candidates and clients’ true needs. This allows him to utilise his market insights, to generate mutually beneficial results for clients and candidates. Makenzie joined Fluid in January 2024, as a graduate from the University of Canterbury. He completed a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in both Human Resource Management, and Marketing.

Life outside the office

Mackenzie has spent all his life in the Canterbury region, growing up in Timaru, and now living in Christchurch. When he is not in the office, he loves spending time with friends and family down in Twizel or exploring the Christchurch area. He has a passion for sports, particularly swimming in the pool, or ocean. In his spare time, Mackenzie also runs a small eco-friendly lip balm company called Ecobase that is stocked in supermarkets and airports across the county.
